Project Fresh Air Ottawa

Accessible, Sustainable and Multi-Generational Rebuild

A multi-year design process has led to the re-imagining of a 1960’s bungalow into an accessible duplex dwelling. The homeowner requested easily maintained materials, energy efficiency, and climate adaptation measures. Balancing the needs of multiple generations creates a home that supports aging in place, invisible disability and the needs of a young family through universal design practices.
